HOW TO GO

There is no public transportation to Koniska. One can go there in a car or with a taxi from Thermon. There a car rental company in Agrinion. The road from Agrinion to Thermon is asphalt in good condition. From Thermon to Koniska (ca. 20 km) the road is asplhalt in the greater part but there are approximately 500 m of dirt road (Jan. 2010)

There is a bus service from Athens to Thermon, running twice a day, and a frequent service from Thermon to Agrinion and vise versa. Thanks to the new bridge between Rio and Antirio, the trip to and from Athens is considerably shorter in duration and can be accomplished under all weather conditions.

WHERE TO STAY

There is a small hotel in Koniska having four fully furnished appartments with kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, etc The hotel is situated in a picturesqe area, just below the firtree line. It has an excellent view to the village and the nearby mountains.
